MPA Library

This started out as a database challenge: how to archive and catalogue a large variety of media assets (press releases, photos, videos, powerpoints), and make them available to MPA personnel in offices all across Asia. After trying a range of standalone database solutions, including Filemaker, it was clear a secure web server-based solution was the way to go.

ExpressionEngine provided the answer: I was able to develop a flexible, secure, and easy to manage site that allows MPA personnel to search, sort, display and download from thousands of assets and media types. Personnel tasked with adding assets to the site also enjoy an easy-to-use Control Panel interface that is accessed securely through any modern web browser. (Sorry, this site is member access only).
